Extension:  Dr. Holscher has sole leadership for the development of extension education programs pertaining to livestock and poultry pest management, public health pest management, and stored grain pest management.  Dr. Holscher also provides major assistance in support of extension education programs related to urban pest management, the Plant and Insect Diagnostic Clinic, Iowa Agricultural Aviation Association Fly-In Clinics, and the Pesticide Applicator Certification Program.

Teaching:  In Fall Semesters Dr. Holscher teaches a classroom section of BIOL 211 - Principles of Biology I.  In Spring Semesters Dr. Holscher teaches the classroom sections of ENT 201 - Introduction to Insects, ENT 211- Insects and Society, and ENT 283 - Pesticide Applicator Certification.  In alternate Spring Semesters Dr. Holscher teaches the classroom and distance education sections of ENT 372 - Livestock Entomology.
